RADAR TRUCK
Toying Around With an Idea!
I really like buying old toys, especially from secong hand shops. They're strong, a decent size, usually hard plastic, have moving parts and sometimes flashing lights (I'm a sucker for flashing lights!) and, above all, are quite cheap to purchase. In this series of photos, you can see what the original toy was and what it eventually became in the hands of a Master Butcher!
I can't remember exactly, but I think it cost me $2.00 |
A child's toy saucepan lid would become the radar dish. |
The figure came from another toy and is about 1/20th scale. |
One of my favourite colours - Venus Orange. |
Sheet styrene and added details. |
